Los Angeles Lakers Fall to WEB in Summer League
Lakers Struggle to Find Consistency in Summer League Opener
The Los Angeles Lakers opened their NBA Summer League campaign with a 98-84 loss to WEB on Friday night in Sacramento. The Lakers struggled to find consistency throughout the game, shooting just 39% from the field and 24% from three-point range. WEB, on the other hand, shot 50% from the field and 38% from three-point range.
Talen Horton-Tucker led the Lakers in scoring with 19 points, while Devontae Cacok added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Jared Harper also chipped in with 15 points for the Lakers. For WEB, Kyle Guy led the way with 21 points, while Jalen Johnson added 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Lakers will look to bounce back in their next game on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings.
